Separate AI from automation, analytics, process redesign, and data integration so the intervention matches the problem.
Can the data and systems support it?
Identify the important data, integration, ownership, privacy, security, and workflow dependencies.
What must remain human?
Clarify judgment, authority, exception handling, escalation, and accountability requirements.
What is still unproven?
Separate demonstrated capability from assumptions, vendor claims, production-readiness questions, and unresolved dependencies.
What should happen next?
Recommend whether to proceed, narrow, redesign, collect more evidence, move into Build, or stop.

Confirm the initiative, sponsor, business outcome, evidence available, and the decision leadership needs to make.
Days 2-3
Review the initiative
Examine the workflow, economics, technical approach, data, dependencies, assumptions, and human role.
Day 4
Test the path
Challenge feasibility, value, operating fit, alternatives, and what would have to be true for the initiative to succeed.
Day 5
Recommend the next move
Deliver the 4 to 6 page written review with a clear recommendation and next-step options.
When this is not the right entry point.
If requirements are already sufficiently clear, the fit call may route directly to a scoped Build engagement. If a pilot already exists but efficacy, workflow value, economics, or scale criteria are still unresolved, Pilot Efficacy & Scale Readiness may be the better entry point. If the main unresolved question is how consequential AI actions should be controlled, a Decision Control Assessment may be more appropriate.
